The State Open Competition is now available for Registration. This event is being run as a’ High-Performance Televised Sporting Event ‘. As Melbourne is currently in lockdown, the guidelines are that only high-performance or professional sport may take place.
To qualify as ‘High Performance’ for these events, you must have a National Ranking of at least U20 Level. U20, U23, Open and Veteran are all acceptable.
*These competitions will be filmed and broadcast
Due to Kayo Broadcast, Entry requirements into this competition include:
1. Must have entries in 1 week before the competition (15th of October) – no late entries after this time will be accepted.
2. You must have had your statistics and photos already done by Geoff Webber to compete. If you have not already done this, please contact Kayt at GeneralManager@fencingvictoria.org as a matter of Urgency.
3. If you have entered into the competition and you are late, or you do not turn up, you will be penalised- you will not be able to compete and you will not be refunded.

Please Note that this is a Category 1 Event, all fencers must be fully affiliated to enter and meet the High Performance Requirements listed above.

Open Sabre – Roll call at 6:15pm with event starting at 6:30pm
Saturday 23rd October – Post AFC #2 Epee
Open Epee – Roll call at 9:30am with event starting at 9:45am
