Insurance – Coverage and Claims

This information is only relevant for people who are affiliated members of Fencing Victoria, and whose club has opted into the AFF’s National Insurance Scheme (check with your club administrator if you are unsure).  It also covers people who are undertaking activities run directly by Fencing Victoria (e.g. squad programs, introductory programs at the State Fencing Centre, etc.). Details about insurance claims for non-COVID specific information should be directed to operations@fencing.org.au and more details can be found on the AFF website: https://www.ausfencing.org/insurance/ 

The AFF has partnered with broker Arthur J. Gallagher to provide insurance to clubs and members.

The insurance program encompasses:

• Sports Public & Products Liability Including Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Sports Injury – Group Personal Accident Insurance
• Association Liability Insurance

If you are in a position where you wish to make a claim as a result of injury, the following procedure is required.

How to Make a Claim or Sports Injury Claims –

Obtain a claims form from Gallagher by calling 1800 931 129

Make sure you lodge your claim form within 30 days from the date of injury; otherwise your claim may be affected. Please provide as much information as possible when you complete the claim form. If you have any questions please call the Arthur J. Gallagher Claims Department on
