KIRIN Fencing Club in Blackburn offers fencing in (Epee, Foil, Sabre). We offer fencing classes and squads from beginner to elite level. Our dedicated fencing gym is open all week for classes, bouting and private coaching. We also run Adult fencing courses (Epee, Foil, Sabre) and beginner classes throughout the year for those who want to try the sport of fencing.
The club also has a junior group where all instructions are given in Chinese.
Times of Training –
Tuesdays 16:00 – 18:30pm – Open age group for 6 to 70 years old
Wednesdays 9:30-11:30am – Adult;16:00-18:30pm – 8 to 10 years old
Fridays 16:00 – 18:30pm for 8-10 years old
Saturdays 9:30am – 10:30am, non-competitive class for 6 to 70 years old; 10:00am – 12:00noon – Adult;
15:30 – 17:30pm – Open age group for 6 to 70 years old
Sundays 10:00am – 12:00noon – Adult and Open age group for 6 to 70 years old
Victorian Fencing Academy
Victorian Fencing Academy (VFA) trains in multiple venues – Box Hill North and North Melbourne. Training is in Epee, the most popular weapon fenced in Australia and Internationally. We cater for ages 7+ with beginner classes for 1-2 terms flowing into supervised development sessions for all ages with intensive training opportunities provided once a reasonable standard has been reached. We focus on providing opportunities to fencers to extend and challenge themselves and participate socially, semi-competitively, or compete at State, National or International level.

Whitehorse Chevaliers Fencing Club
Fencing for all ages in Melbourne’s Outer East
Whitehorse Chevaliers welcomes fencers of all ages and abilities in the outer east of Melbourne.
We provide a friendly and relaxed environment in which to start fencing, and aim to support our members to achieve their fencing goals – whether that be fencing for fun, fitness, or serious competition.
Our fencers train with the Epee and the Sabre. Most sessions include classes for both children (U9 and U13), teens and adults, so families can fence together.
