FV Member portal: Assemble
We use a product called Assemble to manage our memberships and event registrations.
To become a member of Fencing Victoria and to enter state events, you will need an account in Assemble.

How do I access the member portal?
The MEMBER PORTAL option in our website menu will take you to the Fencing Victoria Assemble sign in page.
There are also links throughout the website that will redirect you to specific products within assemble. You will have to log in to Assemble before being take to the destination URL.
How do I create a user?
Select ‘sign up’ at the base of the log in section of the portal front page.
Fill out the information in the sign up form, accept the terms and conditions, and hit ‘create account’
Can I manage memberships for multiple family members from one account?
Yes you can!
To add a family member
- click on your profile
- select ‘+ Add Members’
- fill out the form with your family members details and confirm by hitting ‘Add Member’
To purchase memberships or enter events on that user’s behalf, just make sure you’ve selected that member when completing the registration process.
Step by step walkthrough for purchasing a FV membership in Assemble
AFF Member Portal: Just Fence
As of 2026 the AFF have moved national member management and event management into a new portal called JustFence.
All Victorian fencers, coaches, and referees who wish to engage in fencing at a National level (competing, HPP, coaching accreditation, refereeing) must create an account in JustFence.
You will not be able to engage with national events or services in JustFence unless you have the appropriate level of Fencing Victoria membership paid for in Assemble.
How to Set Up your national Portal Account
1. Purchase your Fencing Victoria membership in Assemble
Log in (or sign up if you don’t already have an account) to Assemble and purchase the appropriate membership for your desired level of national involvement.
Membership Requirements
Fencers who want to compete at national events: Club/Schools Membership and Full Membership
Fencers who only want to referee at national events: Club/Schools Membership
Referees who are not active fencers or members of a club: Referee Membership
Coaches: Club/Schools Membership and Coach Affiliation
2. Create an account in JustFence
Click the link below to open JustFence in a new tab:
Fill out the form taking care to make sure certain fields match those in your Assemble user profile. Linking your accounts will take less time if there are no differences in your name, email, and DOB between the two systems.
To check these details for your profile in Assemble, click the ‘…’ next to your user profile, and select ‘View Details’
3. Wait for your membership information to come across from Assemble
When you first sign up, your user profile will show no membership information:
When it has come across, you will see your memberships.
FV Full membership = AFF Competitive Membership
All other FV memberships = AFF Participatory Membership
