Our permanent Fencing Venue
The State Fencing Centre has 8 inlaid metal fencing pistes with electronic score boxes, 3 coaching pistes, storage lockers, gym equipment and spectator seating. Having a permanent venue allows us to run competitions all year and our location in the North Melbourne Recreation Centre allows us to accommodate large national competitions by hiring the downstairs basketball court.
Pistes for Hire
Affiliated clubs and registered coaches can hire pistes to run club training sessions. Please see our Piste Booking page for availability and to learn more about using our centre.
State Squads and National High Performance Training
Fencing Victoria has partnered with the national High Performance Program to host national High Performance training squads in conjunction with our State Training Squads. For timetables and details of how to sign up for squad training sessions, please see our Training Squads page.
Locker Hire
We have standing lockers available for coaches to hire, and fencing bag storage lockers available for fencers to hire. Please see our Locker Hire Information page to learn more.
