Piste Booking FAQs
How To Book A Strip
Check the availability spreadsheets below and decide the number of strips you would like and for how long.
Email piste_bookings@fencingvictoria.org with the times, dates and pistes you would like to book.
A member of our team will verify your FV membership status and add your booking to the spreadsheet.
Where TO Check Piste Availability
The official confirmed piste bookings are available in monthly views on this page.
Your booking is only official if you can see it on this page.
Please make your booking at least 24 hours in advance to give our team time to process your request.
How To Adjust or Cancel Your booking
Please email your adjustment/cancellation to piste_bookings@fencingvictoria.org up to 24 hours BEFORE your scheduled booking.
We will no longer be allowing coaches or fencers to adjust their piste usage after the booking times.
Any unused time will be included on your invoice and any reported use of pistes outside of confirmed bookings will be penalised.
What To Do IF The Piste You have booked is occupied
Check the official piste bookings to confirm your booking.
Kindly ask the fencers/coaches to leave the piste.
If the unauthorised users refuse, ask to finish their match/lesson, or give you a hard time, report your experience to piste_bookings@fencingvictoria.org
I Have Paid a Coach For Piste Usage – Which Pistes Can I use?
If you have paid a coach for access to pistes, you only have access to the pistes allocated to your coach during the times displayed on the official piste bookings on this page.
Any use of pistes outside of confirmed bookings will be penalised.
How far in advance can I Make a Booking?
You can only make a booking for dates included on the official booking sheets published on this page.
We must prioritise using our centre to run state and national competitions and so we limit our bookings to a few months at a time.
Should an event be scheduled last minute that clashes with your booking, we will notify you that your booking has been cancelled as soon as we know.
