Named for Maestro Joseph D’Onofrio, the founder of Fioretto Fencing Club, the Joseph D’Onofrio Challenge is an all-weapon, weekend long competition, for fencers in age categories U8, U10, U12, and U14.
This event celebrates the the competitive spirit, camaraderie, and hard work of younger fencers, and presents a wonderful opportunity for experienced and novice fencers alike to get a taste of large scale fencing competitions.
We are proud that the Joseph D’Onofrio Challenge in years past has attracted teams from interstate and overseas and we look forward to welcoming the future stars of the Asian and Oceania zones to test their skills, make friends, and have fun!
